DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES 6/30/2012
Dear Mr. Paiva,
I wanted to bring your attention to a new photojournalism competition from The Echo Foundation: 2012 ECHO International Photojournalism Student Competition. Now open for entries, Echo is challenging students worldwide to show what democracy, tyranny, justice or injustice look like through the perspective of their original photography.
New York Times photographer Tyler Hicks will judge the competition finals
The Grand Prize Winner will be invited to Charlotte, NC for a one-day photo shoot with renowned photojournalist Bill Eppridge at the Democratic National Convention
The competition is open to all students worldwide from ages 16 to 28. There is no cost to enter. Entries must be received online no later than 11:59 p.m. EDT Saturday June 30, 2012. For more information or to enter please visit: www.echofoundationphoto.org.
